A camp surveillance system from CDPH connects perimeter cameras and an access-control network to the camp central control room, giving site managers remote viewing and night-vision detection so that people and assets are protected around the clock. Each camp surveillance system is configured according to the camp's requirements and priced together with the camp project, because the layout of a construction camp, a mining camp or a port expansion site determines how many cameras, barriers and network links are needed. The engineering team at Beijing Chengdong International Modular Housing Corporation (brand CDPH) reviews each site plan and replies within one business day with a concept proposal and a budget range.
How the system is put together
The camp surveillance system combines a perimeter infrared and HD camera network with access control and vehicle barrier integration. Infrared detection covers the fence line and gate areas after dark, while HD cameras record activity in the same zones so that control-room operators can verify an alert rather than react to it blindly. Access control governs pedestrian movement through gates and controlled doors, and vehicle barriers regulate traffic at the site entrance. All of it reports back to the central control room, which acts as the single point of monitoring for the camp.
Remote viewing and connectivity
Sites are rarely close to a fixed communications network, so the system supports remote access over 4G, 5G or satellite links. The choice of link is settled during engineering review against the camp's location, the volume of camera traffic and whether the control room is permanently staffed on site or monitored from another location. Remote viewing lets project management observe gate activity and perimeter events without travelling to the camp.

Why procurement teams source it with the camp
CDPH is a project-based manufacturer, so there is no standard MOQ; every project is quoted individually after engineering review. Because the surveillance system is specified alongside the accommodation buildings, site offices, fencing and gates, interfaces are agreed at specification stage. With three production bases in Hebei, Xinjiang and Sichuan — the Hebei base sits 48 km from Tianjin Port — and 100+ engineers on the team, CDPH reports 5,000+ projects implemented in 100+ countries, including work across Eastern Europe, North America, Southeast Asia and Africa. Overseas projects are run through CDPH (HAINAN) COMPANY LIMITED, the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Beijing corporation.
Camp building references at region level include a port expansion camp in Cote d'Ivoire, a construction camp for a methanol plant, a camp for a cross-sea bridge project in Croatia, a natural gas project camp in Nigeria, a copper mine camp built for -55 °C conditions, and a living camp for a solar power station in Saudi Arabia whose fire performance was verified by Intertek testing. These are accommodation projects, listed as camp delivery experience; they are not presented as surveillance system installations.
Certifications and next steps
Category-level certifications held by CDPH include CE for modular container houses, prefab houses and light steel villas; ISO 14001; ISO 45001; product carbon footprint certification; National High-Tech Enterprise status; NATA materials certification for Australia; Intertek fire-resistance certification; CCS factory approval; and Intertek ICC-ES / WH building-material compliance for the US market, supported by 14 key welders qualified to AWS, CWB and CE standards. Certificates available upon request.
