A flat pack container house is a factory-prefabricated steel module built on the 6055 mm standard box, packed flat for transport and bolted together on site. Each module ships as a compact stack of floor, roof and wall panels rather than a closed volume, which reduces the space it occupies in a container or on a flat rack. Once on site, the packed components are assembled and the modules connected with bolts. The resulting unit is relocatable and reusable: it can be unbolted, packed flat again and moved to the next project. CDPH manufactures at three production bases in China. The company's reported portfolio covers engineering camps, commercial buildings, emergency facilities, education facilities and military sites in more than 100 countries; that figure is company-wide, not specific to this format.
How the flat pack system is configured
The standard flat pack module measures 6055 × 2990 × 2896 mm externally, giving 5845 × 2780 × 2500 mm internally; a narrower 6055 × 2435 × 2896 mm module gives 5845 × 2225 × 2520 mm internally. Both are built from galvanised cold-formed steel frame sections (SGH340, t = 3.0 mm), prefabricated in the factory. Roof and floor are insulated with 100 mm glass wool; walls use 75 mm colour-steel sandwich panels and seamless S-type rock wool composite panels. Flooring is 1.5 / 1.6 mm rubber-plastic, doors are steel, and windows are integrated PVC sliders with security bars and fly screens.
Electrical circuits are pre-fitted in the roof, water supply runs along the walls, and drainage is wall-side. Site works centre on assembling the packed components, bolting the module connections and making the final service tie-ins.

Where the flat pack container house is used
The system is specified for projects that need rapid assembly and later relocation. Typical applications include engineering camps, commercial buildings, emergency facilities, education facilities and military sites. Because modules can be stacked to single, double, triple or more storeys and arranged in I, U, L or courtyard layouts, the same box supports a small site office and a multi-block camp.
Representative regional references include a port expansion camp in Cote d'Ivoire, a construction camp for a methanol plant, a camp for a cross-sea bridge project in Croatia, a natural gas project camp in Nigeria, a copper mine camp built for −55 °C conditions, and a living camp for a solar power station in Saudi Arabia whose fire performance was verified by Intertek testing.
Procurement and certification
CDPH is a project-based manufacturer, so there is no standard MOQ: every project is quoted individually after engineering review, and the engineering team replies within one business day with a concept proposal and a budget range. Certifications are held at category level — CE for modular container houses, prefab houses and light steel villas; ISO 14001; ISO 45001; product carbon footprint certification; National High-Tech Enterprise status; NATA materials certification for Australia; Intertek fire-resistance certification; CCS factory approval; Intertek ICC-ES / WH building-material compliance for the US market — with 14 key welders qualified to AWS, CWB and CE standards. Certificates available upon request.
