A containerized water treatment system from CDPH is built for camps and projects that need a reliable supply of drinking water from whatever source is available locally. Each SYS-03 plant is a modular treatment train — multi-stage filtration followed by reverse osmosis (RO) — supplied skid-mounted inside a 20 ft or 40 ft standard container. Surface water, groundwater or seawater can be treated to drinking-water standard, with optional seawater desalination or brackish-water treatment selected during configuration. Because the containerized water treatment system arrives as a self-contained unit, it can be deployed independently on site and is installed and commissioned quickly, without a permanent treatment building.
How the system is configured
There is no fixed catalogue specification for the SYS-03. Each containerized water treatment system is configured around the conditions of the camp it will serve: the raw water source and its variability, the daily volume required, the target drinking-water standard, and the site’s power and climate conditions. Our engineers review these inputs and propose a treatment train and container arrangement to match.
The base process is multi-stage filtration plus RO. Where the source is seawater, desalination is added; where it is brackish, a brackish-water treatment configuration is used. Units are built into standard 20 ft or 40 ft containers, which keeps transport, lifting and siting straightforward and allows additional capacity to be added as a camp grows.

Where the system is used
CDPH has delivered camps across a range of sectors and climates, and the water treatment requirement is assessed as part of each camp package. Reference projects include a port expansion camp in Cote d’Ivoire, a construction camp for a methanol plant, a camp for a cross-sea bridge project in Croatia, a natural gas project camp in Nigeria, a copper mine camp built for −55 °C conditions, and a living camp for a solar power station in Saudi Arabia whose fire performance was verified by Intertek testing. Water demand, source and treatment approach differ in every case, which is why the plant is configured rather than selected from a list.
Engineering and manufacturing
Beijing Chengdong International Modular Housing Corporation (brand CDPH) was founded in 2009 and works as a project-based manufacturer: there is no standard MOQ, and every project is quoted individually after engineering review. The company operates three production bases in Hebei, Xinjiang and Sichuan, supported by 13 subsidiaries and offices and a team of 500+ people, including 100+ engineers. The Hebei base is 48 km from Tianjin Port, and overseas projects are run through CDPH (HAINAN) COMPANY LIMITED, the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Beijing corporation. CDPH reports more than 5,000 projects implemented in over 100 countries, with export markets including Eastern Europe, North America, Southeast Asia and Africa.
Certifications held at category level include CE for modular container houses, prefab houses and light steel villas, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, product carbon footprint certification, National High-Tech Enterprise status, NATA materials certification for Australia, Intertek fire-resistance certification, CCS factory approval, and Intertek ICC-ES / WH building-material compliance for the US market. Fourteen key welders are qualified to AWS, CWB and CE standards. Certificates available upon request.
Requesting a proposal
Send your project brief through our contact page or directly to the sales team (sales@cdph.com.cn, +86-10 69597331). The engineering team replies within one business day with a concept proposal and a budget range for the containerized water treatment system, priced together with the camp project as a whole.
